Secluded Sahara Desert Camp In Sand DunesLet’s say you have made the decision to travel to Morocco.  You have decided when you are travelling and you’re doing research.  The internet is filled with tons of ideas and you can use google to your heart’s content.  Everything looks nice but there are options and it can be hard to make decisions.  This is when it’s important to use the services of a reliable agent, one who knows the country, and one who can talk you through the options.

To make it easier for you, we are going to try and talk you through the options right here.

Firstly, the most important thing, when deciding where to stay, is to take an honest look at your budget.  If you are travelling to the desert in Morocco, then it’s possible your budget will make the decisions for you.  You have standard desert camps and luxury desert camps.  Obviously the more luxurious you go, the higher the price goes too.

Let’s take a look.

Standard Desert Camps, Morocco.

First, rest assured that these are pretty gorgeous.  They are simple but you are going to be comfortable, and most importantly, your position is going to be good too.  You may well have to share toilet and shower facilities, the decor is simple and you may or may not have solar power or electricity 24/7, but your experience is going to be authentic and you are still going to get the best of the desert.   Standard desert camps offer good value for money.

Luxury Desert Camps, Morocco.

Almost all luxury desert camps are impressive.  You have private facilities, showers and solar power or electricity unless otherwise specified, lovely decor, warmth and cosiness.  You are not going to lack for anything, there will be extra blankets at the foot of your bed if you need them, and of course service will be top class.  Your experience is going to be luxurious, not over-the-top luxurious, but luxurious nevertheless. Your linen is going to be top quality and there will be fabulous rugs on the floors.  There is space for you to hang your clothing, staff are on hand to look after your every need and there will be excellent choices when it comes to food and drink.

Before you make your bookings, ask the questions that matter.  What is the cost per night?  What are the costs involved in getting to the camp? What is included in the price of my Moroccan desert camp?  Can I enjoy a beer or wine?

Asking these questions and speaking to a knowledgeable company will ensure you enjoy the best of the Sahara Desert in Morocco!
